Metallizers of Mid-America, Inc. has twenty years of experience, catering to the industrial, automotive, aircraft and marine industries. Established in 1985, we specialize in media blasting, abrasive and non-abrasive blast cleaning and electric thermal arc metalizing.

Kent Strachan - President

Metallizers of Mid-America, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Kent Strachan as a Division of Songer Corporation. In 1995 Kent purchased the “Metallizers division” and incorporated in the state of Michigan as Metallizers of Mid-America, Inc. Since its inception Metallizers principle function has been as an on-site industrial contractor with full service capabilities for Sandblasting, Metalizing and the application of High Performance Coatings.

Kristin Strachan - Government / Defense Project Manager

Kristin’s position within Metallizers exercises the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific Government and Department of Defense project goals and objectives. She does this while honoring the project constraints and optimizing the allocation and integration of inputs necessary to meet pre-defined objectives.

Matt Burley - Director of Business Development

Mr. Burley joined the company in May 2008 with nearly a decade of experience in sales, marketing and coatings project management. Having completed project in nearly every major industry present in the Midwest, Matt brings a broad applications knowledge base to the field for our clients along with a passion for getting the job done right.
